Transformer Evacuation Machine

Our Transformer Vacuum (Evacuation) Pumping System is designed for efficient air evacuation, moisture removal, and deep vacuum creation inside transformer tanks and oil filled electrical equipment. It is used prior to oil filling, commissioning, testing, and maintenance to achieve the required vacuum level and ensure reliable transformer performance.

The system uses high-capacity vacuum pumps and controlled evacuation to remove air, trapped gases, humidity, and residual moisture from the transformer tank, active parts, and connected piping. This process improves insulation quality, increases insulation resistance (IR value), and minimizes the risk of partial discharge, insulation failure, and moisture-related breakdowns.

Transformer life largely depends on the insulation condition of windings. Moisture absorption in insulation is one of the main reasons for reduced IR value. Vacuum drying without heating effectively removes this moisture, helping maintain insulation strength for high voltage and high current applications.

Widely used by transformer manufacturers, utilities, repair workshops, EPC contractors, and service providers, the system is suitable for power transformers, distribution transformers, reactors, OLTC compartments, and other oil-filled equipment.
